Our Story

We are Ryan and Carma Parrish. Ryan and I were both raised in the country—he with a background in family farming and I in my family’s landscaping business. We've spent our lives working side-by-side since the age of 16 installing landscapes, designing and creating garden art and furniture, and so much more. We married at age 21 and purchased a neglected farmhouse built in 1836 on three acres.

Tucked just outside of our storybook town of Cambridge City, Indiana, our little slice of heaven at "Limelight Lane" is home to our thriving micro flower farm for our personal enjoyment. We putter in the garden where we can green beans and freeze homemade pesto and pico de gallo. I make bouquet after bouquet, from spring through fall while Ryan builds the most beautiful art with wood and metal. Over the past 25 years, we've transformed our dreams into reality, both inside and out, creating a truly special place to call home.

Now that our children are leaving the nest and our home renovations are 'complete', we're excited to embrace our next chapter as we work on this preservation project, restoring a historic 1888 building originally designed as a bank. Monét also houses a flourishing flower shop, owned and operated by Ms. Silvia since 1983. Her flower cooler is the original bank vault!

Having just finished a 25-year career in banking, along with my background in landscaping, everything feels like it’s coming full circle, blending Ryan's and my passions and expertise into a new, rewarding venture.

We love hosting parties and intimate dinners and have often been accused of being “extra”—and we take that as a compliment. We work hard to make our guests feel special, ensuring every detail is just right to create a memorable experience. There is nothing more lovely to us than making people feel pampered.

We look forward to hosting you and your loved ones, and above all, we desire to make your stay feel like an oasis—a place where you can truly relax and enjoy the moment.

Lastly, if all of this feels like your cup of tea, we invite you to follow-along on our social media where we share projects from the bed and breakfast, our home, and our travels.
